Xanadu, was initially inspired by the ancient mystical city of Xanadu, the summer capital of Kublai Khan’s Yuan empire. From the seed of this idea, Asetti set out to produce a modern sanctuary. A place of peace and calm for the busy person. Not a home that was separate from nature but part of it. To bring all the calming effects of the natural world to the home owner. An escape from the hectic, modern life, so many of us experience on a daily basis. Having looked closely too at the stones found at the ancient English site of Stonehenge, Asetti wished to keep the shape simple.
It was conceived early on, that it must be as much as possible, ecologically friendly and make use of all the latest modern technology for saving energy. The home design includes for a full computerized, home automation system and energy saving equipment.
