The first time in the world, this has ever been done before: Thara Bura and Dha Wan Mantra were unique large scale, off shore eco developments created in association with one of Europe’s leading independent naval architect and maritime engineering companies. The concept was to design one of the first, off shore, environmentally friendly, residential and commercial projects; utilising modern, safe technologies for sustainable development; with the inclusion of solar, wind and sea power.
With over 50 years of naval architectural experience and owners of unique off shore technology, it allows developments to be built out at sea, that are not only ecologically sound, but also safe.
Paying respect to local culture and architecture, Asetti created styles that blended with local South East Asian culture. The projects included marina’s with club house, 5 star hotels, luxury apartments, salt water swimming pools, shops, restaurants, cafe’s, bars and market areas. Emphasis was placed on creating an exciting community ambiance that was both thrilling to visit and live. People would be whisked around on floating wooden roads by electrical vehicles and electric ferries would navigate around the myriad of canals. Both projects are in design development stages at this time.
