Asetti were asked to design a simple modern weekend property for a couple in Thailand. The land was a fairly irregular shape and located close to the beach. The primary function was somewhere for the client to escape to, from the city at weekends and to spend holidays. It was important for them to have simple design, yet comfortable, lots of glass, open space and easy living. Natural light was important, as too was the potential to harness the natural energy of the sun via solar panels on the roof.
The home has 4 bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms. Living and dining area, kitchen, laundry and storage, in addition to a swimming pool and outside shower.
